I am much better with capped busts than with seated liberties - and this tiny coin is too much for my eyes.

It is the 1858 over inverted date variety. The pictures are not the best but hopefully they will suffice. Very difficult to capture this tiny coin on camera.

Thanks!

A tough one for me: I'll go with AU-55.

(Could be an MS coin, but I'm going conservative!)

There does appear to be something in the date. Also, the reverse is clashed. I am not familiar with this variety so we will have to wait for someone else to chime in. Nice coin by the way!

I'll say AU-58, really can't see much if any wear. Love the toning

Hard to call, I think there is wear, AU-56.

I have to default to the above opinions even though evidence exists that much of what we see is an artifact of strike and not wear. For instance, note the "wear" disparity of the upper left of the reverse wreath vs. the upper right.

I'm gonna say AU55 with a slightly weak reverse strike. Low MS is a possibility. This is a tough one

It appears "grainy" or porous to me, it may be the imaging, but I would give it an AU details.

I have been wrong before.

I love the variety though!

I'm at AU, but not high AU. I see slight loss of detail on the breast and thigh which I don't think is just due to weak strike. There are obvious signs of friction in the left obverse field and around Half Dime on the reverse. Luster persists around the reverse legends but not so much on the obverse. I'd say AU-50 conservatively with a shot at AU-53.

I've never inspected this variety in person but it certainly seems to be the real deal based on these images. Nice!
