After weeks of waiting I finally got my first box of halves today. Unfortunately, it became apparent rather quickly that it had been searched previously. Only finds were one NIFC, a 1971S that is pretty beat up, and a 1972 that just looks "off" to me. There's something about it I can't quite figure out.  |

Went all out today. I got 23 boxes from 2 different banks. Probably my worst finds to date.
8 40%
2 90% (1964, 1954 Franklin)
4 proofs
Well over 100 NIFC that I threw back
I found 6 times that earlier this week with less than half the boxes.

For that matter, how much weight is that? I would hate to have to carry all those coins around!

I order 10 boxes a week normally. They had a mixup last week and didnt get them ordered due to the holiday so they had 23 this week. 8 from one bank and 15 from another. I take them back to a commercial branch. Their machine is quite a bit faster than a normal branch. It was defintely heavy! I search with a buddy so it's not too bad.

What are you guys finding to be better to search, Brinks or String and Sons bank rolled half's?

I did several hours of coin hunting. I ended up with 5 40% and 2 90% (a 1964 and a 1942!)  |

1 box today, found a lone 40%, a very nice 87P, and a 2010P.

I have an account with Chase Bank and all three boxes I have gotten from them have all had Brinks wrapped rolls in them and all three boxes have been skunks for silver. I did find a nice 2000 "S" clad proof in the first box and a nice 1996 "S" clad proof in the second but would love to at least find a silver coin from time to time.
