I have found 10-15 1987 NIFC JFK's in about 4 years of searching through boxes of halves. All in pretty nice condition too.

Went through 4 FED boxes today and pulled 6 40% silver and a nice 1964. I hope I get a great box soon, I really miss the days of a few years ago where you could find 20-30 silvers per box on average.

2 Brinks boxes from last week gave me ZERO silver. Today I got $300.00 from one bank and $70.00 from another, all customer rolls. Out of the $300 I got 2 40%ers. But out of the $70 I got one Franklin 1957, 3 1964 ,and 114 40%ers of the 7 rolls all were silver except for one, and 2 coins out of the other 6. I get my first box of the week tomorrow. I have ordered 5 for the week as long as they all come in. I had 4 ordered for last week and only got 3. -I almost forgot to mention among the group of 40%ers I got today was a 1970D, this is the second one I've found in a roll and I think these are NIFC

114!! I am seriously jealous. No banks in my area ever seem to have customer rolls. All I get is funny looks when I ask tells for half dollars.

Today's box contained no silver, but a 1997 British 50 pence. Interesting, a 7 sided coin?

Don; Great haul.
That's the way I'm finding the silver; before their picked up by the armored car service. You just have to do a little driving and have luck to be at the right place at the right time.

I stopped off at the local Wells Fargo to make a deposit and asked if they had any halves. One teller had 3 and her neighbor had two. I was of course hoping for rolls, but since I asked I bought the $2.50 that they had. One turned out to be a 1962-D Franklin! Just goes to show, even the onesy-twosy half dollar lots can be worthwhile.

Does anyone have active stats on their averages?
