ppaw New Member United States 28 Posts	Posted 05/15/2009 9:25 pm My 2 boxes on the 14th had 4-90% and 11-40%. The 3 boxes I searched tonight only had 3-40%. My 2009 average is 1.285% silver coins found out of all the coins I have searched. Does not seem like a very high percentage. Report this Post to the Staff

A 1976! It was soo cool finding it, I also got a gold plated 71, a 100 colones-costa rica, but no silver. Man do I want a 90%....... Report this Post to the Staff
Silver Eagle Pillar of the Community United States 860 Posts	Posted 05/16/2009 07:01 am I went through two FED boxes last Friday and found: Box #1 - 9 40% 2 1964 1 1999 S Box #2 - 13 40% 1 1964 1 1986 Statue of Liberty commemorative half dollar (my first ever) 2 NIFC's - 2008 and 2004 It really gets the heart pumping when you open a box and see a 1964 and a 40% on the ends of the rolls. I was hoping this luck would carry over into yesterdays 2 FED boxes but I only ended up with 1 40%. Overall, I am pleased, it is always nice to find silver. Hopefully, next week I will find more!
