The 'impossible' errors in the artistic presentation of this coin hold it back a little.

Yup my three have shipped as well! I think three is a good number for me not completely overboard... pun intended... but one for my collection, one for my son to hopefully get him into coins someday (he's 6 months so I got a little while), and then one to give my mom since she loves ships. And if they ever did go up in value just based on the "coolness" factor that wouldn't bother me in the slightest! :D

But only a little! Just enjoy it for what it is: a fantasy piece.

YUp I also received the first of three! I plan on raising my son believing they were handed down from our pirate ancestors and that they contain cursed powers. The joys of being a parent ;)

Bullion Exchange is now carrying this Privateer round at about the same price as Provident.

The Coin Vault is now selling this round too at $54.95.

So I am guessing that the producer mas minted more of these Privateers than we all would like.

I wonder how long the run will be, as long as there is demand for these they could be produced for years.

Some of the rounds producers have done proof like versions (Freedom Girl as an example) I'd like to see this in proof like. It may be too busy or it could be amazing.

cheers

I'm thinking that proof it would be less attractive...but I'd be willing to take a look.

Well...ordered two more...BGASC wanted too much for free shipping... Provident wanted me to use paypal and then put my credit card info on their website to verify my address... silvertowne wanted $10 for shipping... so I went with a seller on ebay that you could buy two of them and save $5. Booyah!
