Just got my two. I was kinda on the fence about getting two of them cause I don't usually get duplicates of anything but I wanted one for the collection and one to beat up and display. Well...glad I did because this thing just looks awesome. The relief on this this is so thick. One to show around and one to keep nice for the collection.

TGB is selling this silver round now with lowest premium on the market. But $25 shipping fee is killing this deal.

I got mine today, I like it. My cost plus shipping was around $67.00 Works out to be $33.50 an ounce. It is a great round but for me (due to the price of shipping) it was a little expensive. This could be said for any ordered bullion.
So what I am trying to say is I like it but I don't like it an extra $10ish dollars an ounce. It would be awesome if I could buy it local but that is not the case. cheers

Just got my last two today! :D Now I have to figure out what to do with them storage/display/gift-wise... One for me, one for my young spawn and then one for I don't know yet. Very nice coins though!

Ok did I miss it or was there ever a definitive answer as to capsules that would work for these? I heard people saying tape an ASE capsule but... hopefully wouldn't have to do that.

I don't know that any capsule would truly fit one since they're almost like a 3.5oz round when it comes to their size..which I don't see a lot of :P

Ok, I have an idea for a custom storage / display solution! Air-tite makes a 10 oz round holder that is thick enough for this round, but they don't have an ring insert that will fit this coin. I am contacting a company to see if they can make custom black felt rings to fit inside these holders and that have a 40mm hole in them to hold the Privateer round.
Holder Type = Z10 Inside Diameter = 3.024"/76.81mm Outside Diameter = 3.264"/82.90mm Inside Depth = .286"/7.26mm Outside Thickness = .413"/10.5mm
My question to you guys is would you be interested in this solution? Would you be willing to help offset the costs of manufacturing the felt rings, since I am sure they won't make just one. I will let you know what I hear back from them regarding the rings. Please let me know what you think about this idea.
Thanks, Matt

Wait, didn't you indicate a different holder that would work? Was it not a good fit?
I guess I need to order 10 next time to get the case.

Ha. So are you taking them out of the plastic? I'm thinking about just chucking them in with my junk silver private chest. I haven't yet as I know it will probable reduce the coin to spot price.

I have put mine in 2.5 x 2.5 mylar coin flips from Kointainer and then in a zip-lock for now. Until I can come up with something better.
