Just an observation regarding sale prices....(all are NGC sets)
The Last 70 set sold for $324.95
The last RP70 dime alone sold for $242.43
The last PF70 dime alone sold for $89.29
The last PF70 $1 sold for $81.77
That would be $413.49 (vs. $324.95) when sold separately
Also note the price difference between the RP and the PF dimes...both have the same mintage numbers...and it is too early to look at POP numbers (actually NGC is historically slow in publishing those numbers and have not done so as of this date)
Last raw went for $116.99
Last NGC69 set went for $165

IMO the whole reason to buy the set was for the dimes, and especially the reverse proof. At least that's how I viewed it, but I never buy mint product. I think the reverse proof appearance is a great one, and would love to see reverse proof versions of all of the "regular" (non-commem) designs... the Washington quarter with eagle reverse, the Jefferson nickel with Monticello reverse, the Lincoln Cent with memorial reverse, etc.

Got mine in the mail on Friday!
I'm actually not that big of a fan of the RP dime... just strikes me as "not a coin" when it's in hand.

I actually like my RP dime more than my RP Kennedy from last year (which I like a lot). I have yet to figure out why, but probably something about the size or design for sure.

I just sold an OGP for $125 plus shipping. Prices trending up in general?

Too early...wait until the "backorder people" all get their sets...a lot recently shipped.
June 3rd NGC cut off date for ER label (NGC received by date) so that's getting tight....

Quote: Hmmmmm....completed sale...one PCGS set Somebody paid way too much. Kudos to the seller, though. Quote: I just sold an OGP for $125 plus shipping. Prices trending up in general? Not bad. Not bad at all. (I am still keeping mine)

I've got two left. One I'll keep for sure, the other I'll probably sell at my next coin club meeting in a couple weeks.

Have all backorders been shipped yet? A bunch of my friends who placed orders for me just got their backorders delivered.

I have twelve on backorder, two on one order and ten on another. Neither has shipped. I ordered the ten after the household limit was lifted, so I'm guessing I'll receive them at the end.

Quote: Maybe...or it is currently what the market price is Oh, it is definitely what the market price is for what is being sold. My comment is my personal opinion only. I know what I paid for my coins; while the grades and slabs mean nothing to me.
