I first checked the MOD set at 05:30 PDT and ordered one set. At 05:45 it was still available. By the time I arrived at work, 06:30, the MOD set was no longer available.
I did get the confirmation email for my order. :)
A fleeting moment for sure.

I sent three sets back yesterday because the dollars had obvious milky films on them. The reverse proof dimes also had a hazy area on Roosevelt's neck.
I was at a coin show over the weekend and a dealer had about five sets. I asked him how much they're selling for and he said $150. He then followed it up by saying that they're having to pay $100 for the sets. I told him that I had some sets that I'd sell him. He responded that they have enough right now.

My two sets that I ordered (that were on back-order status) came today! One dollar had a small issue (EDIT: It was just a piece of debris that was sitting on the coin) and one reverse proof dime had a scratch on Roosevelt's neck and the other had a small speck on his cheek.

Quote: I don't think I would have returned those sets... I have this thing. I just can't accept poor quality. All is not lost though. I have twelve more sets on backorder. :)

Those are sold out at that price...but...they were 1st day of issue (whatever that is worth) and had a wooden presentation box included
For reference the last NGC 70 set sold for $334.99 sans box
I have 10 sets coming back to me (shipped yesterday)..I will let you know in a week or so how I did
p.s. I should add that I got zero hits on completed sales of ANACS sets

Raw sets seem to be selling around $100 now vs. $90 presale and $90 inhand sets the first week they after they became available.

You were next in line to receive either rejects or cancelled orders.

The original "backorder" status orders are for the 2nd wave of sets after the initial group was shipped. There were around 40-45k originals remaining. I really doubt those are resales.
Ordering a set NOW as they leak out some availability will, most likely, be for returned or CC issue sets.
