Seems like these are going by really fast! Good luck to all! I am sticking in my budget and attempting to save for early large cents for the 7070... going to take a bit of saving. ;) lol

Quote: I ordered twice, once for myself to open and one I can trade/sell as unopened box to get a little premium. I see. Now that you mention it, some people are in to the first day or first month of issue thing that the 3rd party grading services provide. They'll likely pay a premium for them. Of course with as many that seem to have been sold, half could easily be first day.

Same thing happened with the raw HOF gold coins. They went from $800 one day to $600 overnight when a large batch was shipped from the mint and delivered to people who had been waiting for 2 months.

Got 3 sets at 12:15 EST. What do you guys think? Wait until I have them in hand, or is it better to list them now and ship out as soon as they get here?

I was busy and just ordered.
Ordered 5 sets just before 11 am PST, order # USM032086xx, status "Processing", my amex card instantly emailed me that I was charged.
It shown "Backorder" and available date is August 14, before I place the order.
I would say soldout w/in 24hrs. However, the new way that USMint work, like others have said, they will over sell by listing them as "back order" and have the "remind me" button and then sporadically open for orders (as back up to those existing orders with cc problem).

@Jack, the problem is IMO that these sets won't be super hot unless they show OOS on the Mint website and who knows how long it would take before it shows that instead of the backorder. Plus in my experience the less knowledgeable never seem to want my stuff I never get those people who pay double while it is still for sale at the mint. Oh well just being safe rather than sorry just never seems to go my way. Thanks for the tip and possibly may try next time (December :))
