5 sets ordered right at noon est 12:30 confirm email order # 0319xxxx
I personally am going to try to flip these. I like the reverse proof dimes, but that baby on the back of the dollar weirds me out....

Looks like through my own efforts and that of friends I've secured about 50 so far. I might have 10 more by the end of the day. About 4 orders of 5 are marked as processing, 5 other orders of 5 are marked as backordered, and 1 order of 5 is marked on hold (i imagine that one might eventually get rejected). I found the order limiting software to be much more stringent then it used to be.

03198 Got on the site at 11:00 central, had lots of issues signing in. Made an order, all the way through, and where I was supposed to get my confirmation page, I got an error page, and had to start all over. 2nd order, start to finish, finally got a confirmation.
Received a confirmation email at 12:19 central... Approx 1 hour. Current status 3.5 hours later: "Processing"

Order's in and confirmed! I put it in @ Noon +2. Quote: As I mentioned in the thread in Modern US, I had some delays with page loads (30-45 seconds) and one "page not found" when I clicked the button to finalize my order the first time around. Clicked again and it went through just fine. This also happened to me and then everything went fine. Can't wait. PS: Jbuck moved us so I reposted this here. Sorry.

Quote: Maybe they need to bring the waiting room back, eh, Fox? The problem wasn't in getting into the site..it was the last step in getting out

It will be interesting to watch this status change. Right now it is still available for ordering but backordered until August 13th....
August? Really?
will it change to "out of stock" ....no "remind me" button yet
"Sold out" won't happen untill all sets have been shipped and the potential for returns has expired...so...maybe September/October?

Update to my order status: I got my order confirmation email w/in 30 mins. However, it went from "Processing" to "Backorder" when I logged in and check the order history. My cc still shown pending charge. We'll see.

Nah, I do sell on ebay though and the margins on these puppies are looking good. I expect them to pop up past 2X issue price once sell out is announced. the 2014 Coin and Currency Sets are selling at more than 3X issue price and there are way more dime collectors then there are sac dollar collectors.

I was surprised to see the August ETA on my order. It seems like the mint would be a little better prepared to crank out a limited set like this instead of having a 3 month backlog on day 1. I am sure there are plenty of dealers/collectors using numerous people to buy numerous sets which bogs it down for those us us that simply want a set to enjoy instead of flipping, but I get it, it is a nice way to turn a profit on something and this set will almost certainly increase in value.
