Hey all,

What do you guys think on this? I figure the coin is legit just not sure on the condition. I really like the 100/000 but the surfaces look to be well corroded. I have just recently started looking into EAC's so I am not the well schooled on them.

Thanks for the help and or insight.
Adam

The corrosion on this coin is so heavy that I would have to net grade it down to at least AG-3. If you're going to buy a Draped Liberty large cent I'd reccomend that you wait for a better piece. On a lot of these older large cents, the surface is everything.

Celtic, thank and I really wish you would not have said that, but honestly I figured as much just needed to hear or read someone else say it. I really like the variety on this coin but I think I will wait and see if a better one comes around that I can afford.

If you really like this coin buy it. I'm just suggesting waiting for a better piece.

Celtic, it's not so much the coin I like as the variety. I understand what you are saying and agreeing with you. Thank you for your help.

Honestly, large cents with no corrosion are best. If you have to, buy them holed, as these holes can drop the value 20-80%
