I received a few coins in the mail today and thought I'd share and get some outside opinions on grade as well.

Here is the Isabella Commemorative Quarter that came in today. The photos don't do this coin justice in hand. It has really nice luster and great eye appeal that I don't think translates in the photos.

Lovely coin ... I take your word on the remaining luster as alas it does not show through in the otherwise excellent photos.

Note the specific location on the coins reverse where the spinners wool strand crosses her left leg ... that is the high point of the design.

There appears to be wear at that point ... hence AU58 in my opinion.

Thank you nickelsearcher. I believe you're right about the high point. From my research I have this as the highest points and the first to show signs of rub:

The central oval jewel in Isabella crown (obverse)
The point where the strand of wool crosses the kneeling spinner's thigh (reverse)

It looks like an AU-58 to me.

Compare to one I have for auction. Moderator move/delete if this is not appropriate for reply, just trying to help the OP.

razor, I think they are pretty close to the same. Both cleaned at one time, but good eye appeal.
