Well, I can't make out any letters, but there is a privy mark, a pellet to the right of the neck of the portrait (may or may not be one to the left as well). These are found on some issue of pennies of Edward IV/Henry VI, or thereabouts. The bust is also distinctive, with shoulders that are "voided" (drawn in outline), like this penny of Henry VI:
