Gyrene7483 Pillar of the Community United States 1704 Posts	Posted 05/29/2015 1:33 pm The uncirculated NIFC Kennedy half is somewhat of a misnomer since they are available by the roll and small bag to dealers and collectors at a premium. These coins are offered in small quantity like this from the Mint primarily for dealers to stock for collectors who want just one or two but do not want to buy a complete mint set. They are out there in "circulation" but not in the same way as the other coins which are released en masse through the Federal Reserve. That is why no one will pay a premium for a circulated NIFC half when they can pay the same premium for one that is still uncirculated from a coin dealer. Report this Post to the Staff

Any that show no or little contact marks may end up in 2x2s. The others go off to my "fun money" collection to spend or use in poker games (older style bills, ATB Quarters, dateless Shield, Liberty and Buffalo nickels). Report this Post to the Staff

Why pay for one with roll marks when you can get one with no marks for the same price?
