Also the thought has occurred to me several times that if storage/display/record keeping of a coin collection could be seen as an attractive, enjoyable and appealing feature, there'd be huge opportunity to expand public interest in the hobby. Some day I think some of us here should create a Coin Collecting Starter Kit and see how it sells on ebay! Haha!
I have a brown unisafe 50 cents folder which is unused and was stored. I pulled it out to use it after several years and the outside plastic on the binding edge is split. I think after some years the plastic deteriorates.
I know this post is a few months old, but I was wondering if anyone has used Gardmaster Numismatic Storage System? When I got this, irealized I had to take my coins out of their capsules which I hate to do with silver. My next was to use Dansco's Silver Maple Leaf book, but my coins are slightly smaller and I intend to collect as many silver dollars as I can, which makes this book useless for anything before 1989
