OK from a previous post. Coin is way better in hand holder is scratched which threw of some graders opinions. I think easily 64 maybe 65 face is pretty clean in hand

Does the reverse look better than the obverse? It looks very different to me, I can't place it

63 seems fair for this coin and there's not really enough of a price difference between 63/64 to warrant the cost of regrading it

Not worth enough even if it did jump and you'd kill the ogh premium

It might go MS-64 now, like of others have said, not worth the cost of a regrade.

Personally, I would leave as is. Worth more in the original green holder.
Rest in Peace

Send it to CAC. A 63 green label CAC is worth more than a new label 64 in my opinion.

It looks MS-63, possibly 64, to me.

Agree w/Dave on getting the CAC sticker. Usually I won't even consider busting out an OGH coin unless it's going to pull 2+ grades above listed / has a big price premium, or unless it's an obviously low MS (for instance, a -61PL that could pop up to a -63PL under modern PCGS "standards.") With Morgans, 1881 in 63 OGH MIGHT be worth it (doubles its value from a 63 to a 64 and would pull 9x 63 value at a 65) but to me the obverse isn't strong enough to pull higher than a 63 if regraded.

Incorrigible VAMmers love those OGH Morgans ;)

How do I submit a coin to CAC? I went on their website and they aren't taking any new members. Perhaps my local guy 20 mins away has a membership or knows someone. Maybe someone on here can help?
