Welcome back, Dan :)
Regarding age, I feel that we all have different types of ages. Here's a breakdown on my ages.
Physically I'm 44.
Emotionally I'm really only about 30.
I FEEL (usually) like I'm 25, although this number may swing from 14 to 70 from week to week.
Spiritually I am 312 but honestly this number can fluctuate also depending on outside stimuli.
Regardless of age we always strive for balance and serenity in our lives. Sometimes it's easier to maintain but it's always there in some form or another. I try not to get hung up on age itself, since it's really only a number that we're judged by.

What I thought was going to be a young lady move in next door, turned out to be her spirit, I guess. Man, I thought dirt was old!

Old Dan offers the forum much more than coin knowledge. He offers humor, and the wisdom which comes with age, and with "common sense."
At 62, I don't know if I'm elderly or not. As one of my grandkids told me the other day, "Hey Papa, you're not elderly, you're old." Well, it beats the alternative.

I'm amazed at the amount of people in the older age groups that are here.

Define "older". I just turned 60 and consider myself "younger". When I turn 85, I'll re-evaluate.

Geeze no wonder you guys treat me like a kid !! Maturity and age do not always meet eye to eye ,, Do they Fred ? I appreciate the older and or more mature collectors we have Here, The views that they have is IMHO extremely important ,, they have a view of this hobby that unless shared can never be experianced by the younger portion. Not quite. It would sure be nice if only one more person were to cast a vote in my age group so we wouldn't be low man on the totum pole.

25, many say that I was born 40. But after many 70 hour weeks juggling work, and school I feel like I'm 70!!

I hit 50 this year. I'm glad I'm still around. My father used to say not to regret getting old because its a privilege that's denied to many! Mike
