I'm surprised nobody mentioned to check the edge to see if it is clad or not.
90%silver shows no sign of a clad strike.

That would usually work, but halves struck from 1965-1970 were 40% silver and don't show copper on the edge

Agreed, but you can still see the clad seperation if looking close enough...

The tissue test is only good to distinguish silver from cupro-nickel. It is not even close to being definitive for distinguishing silver-clad (with an 80% silver outer layer) from 90% solid silver. So forget that test for this coin.

Wow! Thank you everyone for the feedback and advice! Nothing but a great experience in dealing with everyone here!

I will try some different techniques and get to a scale to weigh grams and get back to everyone. I did the tissue test and it matches my silver coins. Just need to figure how much, etc...
