AE 2 Assaria (24 mm, 6.85 g), Aegium, Peloponnesos. C. 196-208 AD. Obv. Lambda; C#1028;Pi;T C#1028; Pi;#1028;PTIN, laureate and cuirassed bust right. Rev. AIGamma;I#1028;WN, Artemis standing left, holding torch in right and leaning with left on column; at feet, to left, dog. Kroll 4.1 (this coin, illustrated). Unique. Dark patina with beautiful red earthern highlights. Very fine. From the BCD collection and ex LHS 96 (2006), 452. Bought at auction for 340CHF. Report this Post to the Staff
