More guessing than grading...looks sharp and I see shine in the king's ear. I'd guess AU-something. In reality it could be anywhere from EF to MS.

From what I see I don't think it would be less than AU, but we need sharper images. Try in natural light without flash, take a lot of pictures and pick the sharpest and highest resolution. In one pic of reverse I see odd linear blobs near the trees, and in the other they're absent. Looks like a few big hits on the neck and jaw, so I might go as high as MS63. It seems it was put in the album to make the canoe level. Actually the G and X on the obverse should be level, so it appears you have a bit of a die rotation, assuming the album edges are vertical in both pictures.
