Jbuck, I'm not pickin up what your throwing down for some reason

FUNNY story, I called ngc because I got my coins but my packaging is still MIA. They said "Ya, we only have ONE PERSON doing that and he's backed up". And that I should have them in a week or two. I guess we know why they want capsules only for the ikes now

I can just imagine that one lone person in a large room that looks like a house on Hoarders where the guy is ocd and it's all one product with only narrow pathways flanked by 10ft high stacks of truman ogp's

I bet he envys the guy that got the ike ogp return job

That's odd. The NGC order form says that the OGP will be shipped separately, but on my last order, it was shipped back with my coins.

I always seem to get my OGP mailed separate and before my graded coins.

It may just be my set, but the ink on the Truman is very thick, waxy, and uneven. It seems like they were going for some sort of texture or feel, but got sloppy. The FDR and Eisenhower feel very smooth and even.

Nope, sorry. I was responding to CK and your post slipped in without me noticing.

I fixed it with a quote box.

I believe Jbuck is talking about the ink on the set's packaging.

Yes, the packaging, not the coin or medal; both of those are fine.

Just thought this thread was lonely without it's three brothers, so I raised it up.

That was a shameless bump.

I tweaked the title to better match the others.

Has anyone else noticed that the raw sets are going for more than the 69/69 graded sets? I don't get it. Are people paying more for the raw sets because they think there's a chance they could get a 70 coin? Really? I think even an ethical seller would keep the best for themselves and sell the rest.

Theory 1:

Yes, they are going for 70s

Theory 2:

The Jbuckians are getting them because you can't stick 2 slabs on the shelf between Roosevelt & Eisenhower
