Hi all,

I need help identifying this medal. It has been in my family for awhile. I believe it is French. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Please see the pictures I posted. Thank you!

No no, not a key chain.
But the ribbon is missing
Is there anything on the other side?
I think it is belgian first world war.
The middle of the medals has varieties.
Perhaps send the picture to Hendrik:

Petrus,

It is very possible that you are right and it is in fact Belgian! I have been told by my father that it is French, but he was unsure, and I have both French and Belgian relatives in my family. Thank you so much for the advice.

France was a republic in that period. They would never use a crown.
(I think)
