Well, I was on vacation last week and couldn't post pictures - so I was going to just sit back and watch. But I couldn't do it - not with Lincolns. So - shooting quick pics and catching up: 1909 1910 1911 1912 1913 1914

OK, SSK made fun of the moustache on my 1914, and I wondered myself if anyone else had their 1914 D look nicer than their P version. So while visiting the LCS today, look what I found. This is a really interesting coin to me. I bet it was a beauty when it left the mint. Clean fields, and is that a die crack from the date to the rim? Mid to late die state? Nice reverse but the spot, maybe I should get some of that Verdicare. And watch for my 1915, Lincoln not only hadn't gotten rid of the moustache, I think it had grown substantially.

Quote: Just now seeing this post .. Hope it is ok to do a little catching up Only if you give me that S VDB. The 14D in its slab. It was in there for about 20 minutes when I got it back before it was broken out and put in the album. He is ugly. Definite upgrade down the road... And the P up close to show his toning better. Its dark purple. Very pretty.
