Rounding is (in theory) a net-zero proposition. I wouldn't much care if they got rid of anything smaller than 25c. They aren't out to "get you", as mentioned they cannot possibly predict the total of the items you buy combined. 0-12 cents = 0 cents. 13-25 cents = 25 cents. Debit = exact amount. Simple.
