Since the pattern is the same on all the coins, I am thinking it would have to be something on the die. If it were an ejection issue, the pattern would change with each one, wouldn't it?

cwb: Exactly what I was thinking. Also, the ejection force should not be great enough to dig into the coin? Not sure if this helps but the coins are not damaged on the rim on either end of the line.

If they were a hub issue, there would be a lot of dies that had the same issue.

That makes me think it's not the hub, unfortunately I don't know the ejection process.

Trying to get the pictures right for the other 2014. Again, I'm not sure what caused it

Just a thought, if it was the Hub, and they did produce the dies maybe they just decided to polish them after and one got missed
