Why do people insist on warning these sellers? If he pulls it now, I can't get a strike against him.

Dear seller -

Will you take my check. It's from a real bank account from many years ago. I found the checkbook in my {late husband's|grandfather's|dead aunt's} {things|attic|storage locker}.

Thanks!

I wouldn't even pay $2.50 for that roll.

This guy has clearly folded the end of this particular roll. It's not even a completely machine wrapped roll.

So what is wrong with the coin other than it looks like it has been removed from a piece of jewelry (badly, probably a stick pin.) and you are seeing scrapes and the remains of silver solder.

Exactly. Although we have been taught "not all that glitters is gold" in our loves, in this case, I think its gold and where its not the shiniest of examples, it is not an attempt to rob anyone as much as it is an attempt in marketing his product offering on a playing field allowed by the web site owners.

Some of us may not agree with his marketing but in the end he is not showing pictures of fake coins and lying about the contents.
Rest in Peace
