I found this in a jar of change my son was saving. Looks like lamination, but I read somewhere (probably here) that clad coins cannot have laminations. Is it an error or PMD?

Looks like maybe glue or tape. I see a scalloped edge.

John1, you are a genius ...and I am an idiot. lol Or maybe I'm just blind ...it was tape. Amazing how things like that can fool the eye so easily. Time for new glasses I guess.
