On the Coins and Canada website they show rippled coin errors. I am not sure what to believe. Everyone on here seems to automatically call them PMD or Dryer Coins. So is the C&C site wrong or does a rippled coin error actually exist?
The rippled coin examples in C&C looks like it's either struck through something or acid etched. Perhaps an error expert can chime in. So far I've only seen "rippled coin" mentioned in C&C and Zoell catalogues. It's not there on error-ref.
timnic, it's not that we here automatically calls them PMD or Dryer Coins, but mistaking acid etched or Dryer Coins for rippled coins is not rare from what I searched through the forum.
