Being one of the highest points of the coin, it would be one of the LOWEST points of the die, and the least susceptible to die polishing lines. I think it might be just contact marks. I had made note of them in my first post, and thought they were just at two places, with the rest being a reflection. But after Tryna's comment and taking a closer look, I can see that it is a marred surface all the way down to the ankle. Since the photo is a teensy bit larger than actual size, it might be that most of it is not visible without magnification. I stick by my original grade. Report this Post to the Staff
