Does the mint have a time which they start to sell these on the 16th, or does it simply start at midnight?

Good news is this time I won't be traveling at that time so I can try from a laptop instead of on my phone.

I hope I am lucky enough to get this set too.
Is the mintage still 25K?

Anyone who's at their computer at 12PM Eastern should be able to pick one of these up. I predict a try, try again approach for success.

jumping off topic for a moment the Johnson set it going to have multi coins [P] & [S] like Jbuck said they could have done Kennedy with something special, since I'm getting to know a little about coins it hard to me to tell what going to to be a key day the 17k they look the same, the Kennedy at 50k and so far the Johnson look like it might be the key set with the [P] & [S] don't no what that [S] going to be.i just don't see a key date.Question can it be a key set instead of a key date or they the same.

This will still sellout in less than 20 minutes, even with the increase mintage.

There is only one coin in each set...no clue where the (s) you mentioned came from. The medal does not have a MM...
A "key" date is the lowest mintage date (coin) of a series...there is no way the Kennedy or Johnson can be keys of this series.

I predict that there will be so many on ebay that the price will drop to $125 or lower. I just hope it doesn't drag the other two sets down with it.

A "key" date is the lowest mintage date (coin) of a series...there is no way the Kennedy or Johnson can be keys of this series. i was looking a head of the upcoming and I seen that http://catalog.usmint.gov/2015-coin...rt=undefinedthat what I was asking and saying the us mint have 2 set with 17k so how can a key date come from them, that why I was saying the better set could be the Kennedy or Johnson if the flippers don't see that the Eisenhower didn't do well for them they might not join in trying to get Kennedy or Johnson.if I'm saying this correct.lol

Quote: us mint have 2 set with 17k so how can a key date come from them They are the lowest mintage of the series so they are co-keys for lack of a better term. Now when the audit is done the final numbers will define a technical key but, they essentially have the same mintage Right now Truman is leading: 16,800 to Ike's 16,812 I should add that it is the coin that is the determining factor here...NOT the set...the 2014 FDR C & C set has sold over 1000 LESS and is still for sale (20k limit but probably will be d/c'd before that is reached)
