So, do LDS coins increase interest amongst collectors or are they just ho hum?

I wonder why so many of the LSC have chips and/or scratches in that particular area if the shield?

durkastani: how did you come by this, in a roll or get it in change or ? Was it pretty obvious at first sight?

And coop: do you mind if I save that jpeg?

Their is no ADDED value on LDS coins, except for the 1922 no/weak D cents and, well, basically any large cent, Half Cent, and half dollar die variety and morgan VAM.

It just seems like more than a worn die I think because of how uneven the lower line of Lincoln's bust is.

My images are for all to use. No problem.

Here is a guide to show how many coins are struck up to the die states.
Awesome-2014-Mint-Error-Penny...-Better-Pics-Now!
Note the lower numbers of the first three die states. (these are the ones I prefer) By the time the LDS coins are struck, the die has made a lot at that point and the devices are fading. 250,000-650,000 coins at that point.
