Error-State-Quarter

I came across this coin in my collection. I know it is an error of some sort, but Id love to know what type and the value this coin has. Thank you!

It is a Cud, a specific type of die break that affects the shank and face of a die. Similar ND Cuds have sold on ebay for $10-20. Nice find
