Wow, this is a dream... I would love such a treasure trove to sift through.

The original pictures on the front page look like a nightmare, but I guess you are so in awe with the silver stuff you will be too busy to try and do anything with the pennies and stuff that is in bad shape.

I wouldn't give up on them completely though. Maybe give them a bath in distilled water, try acetone and verdicare...go over some with a toothbrush and see if that moves anything.. etc etc. You have enough to experiment with to see if you can get any decent (practice on the low value items first and maybe there are some worth saving?)

Have fun with this, an opportunity like that doesn't come along often. I hope there is no hurry to recoup money from the lot either...

Cascade , no I haven't done yet , but I was just on BEP and they only give you face value for them. if that's true I would keep them for novelty.

Wow! Very nice indeed!

Especially the page of foreign silver coins.
You might want to go back and relabel them correctly because you have at least one example from many of the German States that existed in the late 19th and early 20th centuries before the rise of Adolf Hitler and the Nazi party that unified the entire country to form the German Third Reich.
A great effort was taken to ban and then confiscate all the previous silver city state (German State) coinage in an effort to quickly issue a unified monetary system under the Third Reich to be used throughout Germany and also as propaganda as Hitler's war machine invaded and occupied neighboring countries throughout Europe which ignited the First World War.

So the survival rates of these individual city state (German State) coins were very low, and in my opinion have always been undervalued and overlooked by collectors.
Most likely because of the staggering number (300+) of different city state coinage issued in Germany before Napoleon consolidated Germany into 39 individual states as the Confederation of the Rhine, a French client-state in 1805.

It was consolidated further in 1871 to form the German Empire consisting of 26 states as shown in the illustration below.

So you've found some some very nice examples of coins with great historic significance!

And the U.S. coins are also truly amazing! Especially the Morgan and Peace dollars as well as the rest of the silver coins, that due to their composition, are the only ones that appeared to survive the less than favorable conditions they were subjected to for who knows how long!

Like the others, I love reading these awesome discovery posts and seeing the picture updates, but at the same time, it envokes that profound feeling of jealousy and that almost unbearable question of "Why can't I ever find S#%@ like that?!"

But in all seriousness, Congrats on your awesome find and thanks for posting your discoveries in such great detail, so that we all could experience it vicariously through you!

Oh, statistically speaking, it wouldn't hurt to go purchase a lottery ticket and let us know how that turns out!
