Well I must admit those were my two sets on the Bay earlier. Sold them and made a nice hourly wage. Unfortunately proceeds are going straight to my 1 year olds ER bill but am glad I was able to earn a little for it

No need to justify your selling Kairu. Hope everything is OK with the little one.

So far, it seemed everyone is happy with this set's mintage, HH limit, availability time window. It's a good balance, don't you think?

Quote: So far, it seemed everyone is happy with this set's mintage, HH limit, availability time window. It's a good balance, don't you think? Absolutely...went much better than expected. Couple of thoughts: 1)There is no way anyone can come up with a "market" for these on the same day they are released. They are ALL random stabs at prices. A market will develop when everyone has their sets and they have been on sale for a while. I remember loading up on the 2008/07 W ASE's when "the market" after discovery said they were worth under $200 (bunch at $169)...they are now well north of $900 for 70's and over $500 for 69's (NGC) 2) I think the Big Boys decided to sit this one out which might explain the 4 hours needed for a sellout (which is still extremely fast). These thousands of sets would normally flood the market and keep prices from rising. I bet most of these went to Joe Normal and his "friends" which is the way it should be.

From the Mint (excerpt from the link given earlier): Quote: The United States Mint has sold the 25,000 units of the 2015 Coin and Chronicles Set - Lyndon B. Johnson. All accepted orders will be processed and fulfilled on a first-in, first-served basis according to existing United States Mint policies. The product inventory is at the fulfillment center for immediate shipment to customers.

Hmm. Credit rejected and cancelled orders must be rolling along. I was just able to order the Johnson C&C OR the Kennedy C&C from my wish list just now, but the main page for both has the "remind me" button instead of "add to bag." Peculiar, but if you missed out on either, try adding it to your wish list and ordering if from there.

Yeah it appears it is just a stomach virus and he should be fine after a few days. I wanted them gone quick so I was able to sell the 2 for $199. For about 30 minutes total work getting $50 i'll take it.

Oops... First one to get their order will have to confirm if this error is present on the actual sets (images from the Mint website).

How the heck does that happen. Looks like they were thinking kennedy. I bet there's a position open at the mint right now!

Well, Johnson was actually inaugurated as president aboard Air Force One on November 22, 1963 due to the assassination of President Kennedy. So, the medal is correct there.
Johnson was then inaugurated for his first full term as president January 20, 1965. So, the packaging designer must have used that date instead, not realizing he really was inaugurated first on Nov. 22, 1963.
