Both the Kennedy & Johnson C&C sets are available again this morning. Remember to "add to wish list," open the list and you'll be able to utilize the quantity drop downs to add to your bag. Looks like this is the way they'll handle those 7:30am order cancelations from now on.

Bizy - so is this the only way the 7:30 AM deal works, or do they also still make them available on the standard page as was the procedure previously?

So if the Johnson set has become available at 7:30AM once or twice so far, how come there's no reminder email going out if I had signed up for "Remind Me"? Arghh. And if you do catch it as available at 7:30, why add it to the wish list first instead of just going straight to "add to bag" and rushing to checkout?

My shipment is at my post office. If it got there early enough, I could receive it with today's mail! If not, it will be tomorrow night before I get to take a peek.

Billy, I think we both know, deep down, that the Remind Me button is actually used by the Mint marketing department solely to collect "approvals" from its customers to send out standard email promotions.

I would be interested to hear from any one in this community who has ever received an email from the U.S. Mint specifically telling them that a previously sold out item is now available.

It's happened BUT with high demand offerings like these they are gone before their system initiates remind me emails. As to weather or not they will be offered on the original page for Johnson, it looks like no. Apparently they are trying something different with these "follow up" offeringS than they did with truman & ike. And I don't blame them, with ike it was only milliseconds for 5 consecutive mornings

I know I never have! I got the one reminding of the opening sales after the Truman and Ike had already sold out. The last two came before the sale so they are getting better!!

and while to LBJ page is in "Remind Me" mode, there is no option for adding it to the wish list. Is there any trick for getting it onto your personal wishlist before the 5 second window at 7:30AM?

Mine departed Dallas yesterday morning, and if history is a guide, it will for some reason go to Houston before it makes its way to Austin sometime early next week.

My two sets arrived about an hour ago. Best looking quality of the rp sets that I've received. Both my medals have slight Machine Doubling on his chin. I might even have a 70 on one of my reverse proofs. I couldn't detect a flow looking under a 10x magnification.

@billymac & teach:
On the product page itself, note that there's no other information than a "remind me" button and a link to "add to wish list." The "Unavailable" message is noticeably absent from the page as well, which should clue you in that product is once again available. It's a bit tricky, but it's the Mint, what can you do?

@billymac
I see the problem now. From my wish list the product page shows the "add to wish list" link. Signing out of the account, that link disappears. Looks like you have had to add the product PRIOR to the sellout. The only recourse you have is to call the #800 and talk to a CSR. Let her know that the LBJ set is orderable under other customers' wish lists, they should have an accurate count in their system.

Mine left FedEx for the PO about thirty minutes ago. I might actually see it tomorrow, but definitely Monday.

Mine's still in Houston according to tracking. At this rate Tuesday sounds reasonable (and typical).
