That's a newbie. I think you meant 33rd degree, no?

I would be interested to see how the 25K mintage affects the resale value compared to the previous issues.

The Kennedy set has tanked at lucky to get $15 over issue price.

The Teddy and FDR sets have seemed to have tripled in value over their initial issue price on the wave of the current sets.

Just my opinions...

If the LBJ set is a sellout, the value will go up.

If the Kennedy set would ever sell out, it will go up like the rest.

What do you mean? The FDR set is still available at the mint's site.

Not sure about either coin in this set. The profile of LBJ on the medal looks much better (to me) than the portrait on the dollar. Guess I'll make final judgement when they're in hand...

How is the mint deciding which presidents get a coin & chronicles set? Maybe they should have started this from the beginning rather than towards the end of the series.

I think all of this years C&C sets will be long term keepers. I think 20 years from now, new collectors will be asking us why we didn't buy all we could at $200 each. The mint would be smart to lift the HH limit on Kennedy before LBJ goes on sale. A sellout on the previous 3 would spark the fire again for the last issue of the year.
