Just saw the LBJ medal. Compared to the first two, this one is pathetic. JFK medal was just OK. If I didn't already have the other three, I'd skip this one.

You know, the medal is a re-issue of the first inaugural medal in silver. It is not like they were going to make a new design or use the second term medal. The precedent has been set, so we already knew what it would look like.

Wishful thinking.  Of course, one could argue that the original bronze was nice looking and the lower relief on the silver is the real crime.

I'd like to stick with 2 for this one, but it reduces the chances of getting a decent one to 50/50. I think these will settle in with a value of $100, although they could go as low as the Kennedy set. Not a whole lot of LBJ fans out there.
