Went to the bank today and asked for any $2 bills, Ikes, and Kennedy's and scored 12 Ikes and 18 Kennedy's and no $2 bills... No silver but I did get a 72 Ike which looks to be a Type 1 since it looks like islands and no gorge... Any value to it since I know nothing of Ikes? I'll just spend these for you JBuck since you are a big fan of Ike dollars...  |

Nice finds. The 1972 you appear to have is rather common. The variety 2 is the one to find. You can spend them if you like, but nothing wrong with keeping them as they are still Eisenhower dollars after all. If you do spend them, remember to note them here.  |

Asked my Banker to order more Ike's for me. Hopefully they will get here before Thanksgiving! If not I'll have to wait  but if so.  |

Woo Hoo Mr. Click! Hope you find some nice goodies. Have fun Bryan. I often make the same request when I actually get out of my car and go inside my bank. The drive through tellers don't keep anything "different" in their drawers.

She told me she had never seen anyone spend them before even though she has seen them around... |

I opened the bag on the right and cherry picked through them. So far I've found a 1923 Peace dollar and a 1973d. Too sleepy, long day. I'll go through them more thoroughly tomorrow. I haven't returned any yet. I'm hoarding them for now |
