This does not appear to match either one on coppercoins. I cannot find any of the markers.

The lower serif seems to have a nice split.

Any comments?

I don't understand how you can tell which it is, however...how do you tell?

If it is a damaged punch, the shape of the MM will change, in a RPM, the mm will be doubled.

i was a victum of the dasterdly 79D broken punch - also. in my case I foud about 10 or so in a fairly small cup of 79D's. I though I was onto something pretty epic....but - alas...- the broken punch "D"..
