Anything Look Funny On This 2011 Cent?

It looks like a case of very mild machine damage. The light at the right angle shows it. Hub doubling is on the die, not something that happens during the strike. You can have hub doubling and machine damage on the same coin.

When the machine get very loose, then it can really make doubling in various direction. But I just view these as event coins. Nothing special to me as they are very common. On larger coins it is easier to find MD easier than you can find a normal coin without the MD.

But on your coin, the size of the devices are normal with a slight bit of MD. Only when you have the light set at a certain angle you can see it.

I do agree somewhat with rob Robyn about how loosely the term MD is thrown around by some users. I have posted coins and yes in the beginning alot where MD. That just goes with the learning curve but I have posted others and seen other posts where there is clearly No MD and for some reason that was thrown in there. Most of the time when I see it used wrong is usually people under 250 posts. Now that's not always the case but just like reading feedback make sure the advice you looking at is from a seasoned person. I personally have 5 or so people who I hold on a higher tier than the rest while I consider everyone's opinion in my quest for knowledge. I do value some more than others. Just remember don't get frustrated it is a learning process.
