Hi all, I'm not going to say I found a 1990 no-s cent, but, I found a 1990 cent, no mint mark (presumable Philly). This cent is in great condition, however, it is not mirriored finished. under a 60x loup you can't see flow lines either though it clearly has not been protected and has lost some of its luster. Lincoln appears to have a very fine and consistent texture that reminds one of frosted. The letter and numbers are as clear and strong as I've ever seen. Oh yeah, the revese is in like fashion except that the entire reverse has been double struck. Any ideas on worth and/value? Working on getting a pic. Thanks!

Double die, my mistake. The reverse is struck twice leaving an outline around all the figures, images. its hard to get a good pic w my phone lol .. you can see some of it in "CENT" Also, on the top of the memorial you can see four lines in the center instead of the usual 2.

I don't see any die doubling either. This is a very nice 1990 P penny however.

Your coin is not an error. It is not a proof struck coin either and the reverse is worn die. John1
