Hey Susan.!

Nice going Mom... I'm really looking forward to Mr. Taylor's visit. I think the forum members can learn a lot. Having the opportunity to ask questions will give us all a chance to clear some questions about grading services we wanted to know for a long time. Keep me updated.

Hi Susan! I think it will be great to get facts right from the top. Rumors abound about the changes at ANACS. To have this asscociation with Mr.Taylor is very exciting. Great going getting this lined up!!! Mike

Is this going to be some sort of a Q & A thread that Mr. Taylor will be answering? Do we need to send in questions before hand? It'd be kind of neat if it works out so we can all be online and send questions and have him answer. I guess we would have to pick nrs. or something.

I have spoken with Mr. Taylor a few times over the years at various shows, and I can tell you that he is one of the easiest people to talk with. Can't say for sure that he enjoys it (he may), but at least he does it. That is a "great" characteristic in my opinion.
I look forward to his arrival here, no matter what contributions he can make.

Ditto here about James Taylor...

I met him at the 2004 FUN show and by the next show he greeted me by my first name. We chanted about the ICG product and I came to appreciate the Intercept Shield protection they offered.

For the life of me, I never understood why submitters would not splurge the additional $3 for this protection. Let's say your coin is worth $500...are you going to tell me that you would not want that protected?

As I stated previously...hopefully he can rattle a few cages at Anacs, especially when it comes to submission turnarounds and a slab that is better designed.

After all, when I submit...I am paying for their opinion on the grade as well as a device that will protect and display my coin properly for generations to come.

Sorry, Jerry. I don't know how I missed your post. It would be great if everyone can be on-line when Mr. Taylor is with us, but I know that is not realistic. I'm planning on opening up the section for questions to be posted by those who can't be with us 24 hours prior to his visit. At this point, I'm think that each question can be a new thread and Mr. Taylor can answer them that way. He has already joined CC and I'm sure that he'll subscribe to the entire ANACS category prior to his visit (if he hasn't already) so he can see all new posts in practically real time.
Rest in Peace

YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME! I just read Bobbie's off-forum email and learned that James Taylor will be with us 11 January. I'm retired, live in the middle of the Arizona desert, single (and not dating), and don't have very many social nor calendar commitments. In January, I have only one: an all day trip to Prescott VA Med Ctr on, of course 11 January. Of all the luck... [imagine icon for sobs].

Guess I'll have to ask my question(s) by remote once we get a questions topic posted.

I'll be working as well, so those that can be present, please be sure to ask ALL the questions that you can think of so that I can catch up when I get home.
