Hi, what do you guys think of this 1928 Peace?
It's selling very cheap ... Cleaned / fake / removed mintmark?
Any info would help.

Oh, well, reading you comments I kind of feel stupid just by asking the question ...
In my defense, I have never seen Peace dollar in person ... Trying to finish some other set before switching to US silver.
Fun/sad note: ebay is not the worst place to buy coins online. Outdated local equivalnets of it are :)

There are so many fakes being sold online with no warning at all from ebay it is really sickening. You know a 1928 Peace dollar in AU condition is going to sell for between $350-$400. If it is selling for $150 you know something is wrong. Unless you are stealing it at a yard sale everyone knows the value of these coins. What I see online are coins worth maybe $200 selling for $350. The condition claims are absurd. I think sticking to coin shows and maybe the LCS you may get a better and more honest deal. I have been taken in once or twice myself trying to get something for a lot less than its true value. I bought a slabbed coin that was fake before and I just had my own greed to blame.
