Ok. I just need to say this. I just have to.... for my own record. There is someone on this forum (sometimes referred to as KING), and this person has 4 (FOUR!!) 1893-S Morgan dollars. I'm gonna just sit here, sip my coffee, take it slow and try to let it sink in. I'm blown away all over again. Over dramatic? Don't think so. I'll be lucky if I ever own just one.

That's right. Tomorrow is 1894. I'd better prepare myself. Seriously, Ralph's dedication to building Morgan sets is simply the most impressive thing I have encountered here at CCF.

Thanks guys.....labor of love.....taken around eleven years to get this far in my morgan mania.....no telling what the next eleven will bring. I do plan on getting, at least, one more '93S to complete this set I'm working on right now.....adding to my little set aside every chance I get - when I think I've got it built up enough, I'll go shopping again. That's the way I've done it in the past.....seems to work out pretty well for me because I'm certainly not rolling in dough.....get my little old piece of a check from the veteran's administration (wounded 3 times in Vietnam) and, at 67, I'm old enough to get a little old check from social security, but, if you've ever had to deal with the government, you know they don't give anymore than they absolutely have to. Anyway, that's, pretty much, why I decided to start a little set aside for my coin collecting, and I only spend that money for coins. And, that's how I've been able to collect my 4 1893S coins, as well as the other Morgans I have in my sets. Any coin can be your's, if you want it bad enough, and you're patient.

Thanks for your service, Ralph! I agree that patience is awesome when it comes to getting those drool-worthy coins, although sometimes an impulse buy is not a bad thing either. Posting my lone 1894 now since I have to go to bed. Working 65 hours a week means sleep is always at a premium. 1894-O VAM-11 Low Date, PCGS XF40, awesome toning
