Nice impaired proof Finn! Always a fun find! I find it funny that it's often easier to find a proof in circulation than a much higher minted specimen that would fill a hole in the album. I found a 1968S impaired proof that's a DDO. What are the odds of that?  |

Hi Numisma - correct; it was in my write up. I haven't taken pictures of it yet, but I think I've narrowed it down to two choices. Slim may be an appropriate label.

Still looking for my first RDV006 Transitional cent...so I don't have anything from 1988 worth sharing. Maybe a foreign coin for the date, but I'd need to dig and photograph. Hopefully someone can kick start us.

I'll get us moving again: 1988:  Set this one aside a couple years ago when I thought I could do a 1971-Present set in high MS. 1987:  Obligatory, of course. |

That's a pretty nice MAD, Numisma! I have never found one with the legend off the strike.
