UKPennyHunter Valued Member Spain 239 Posts	Posted 10/22/2015 03:31 am I've not heard a Cud being defined like that, but if the polar opposite area of the Cud is showing a weaker strike (hard to tell from such a small area) then yes it would be a die chip. My understanding is that a Cud is a part of the die that is missing through an edge, however, I have seen a pretty drastic Cud where a chunk of die had fallen from the central device to the field without touching an edge. So an argument could be made either way, but my opinion would be die chip or gouge, not technically a Cud. Whatever the definition, very nice, and I would be proud to own it, especially if I had gotten it for melt value. Report this Post to the Staff
