Hello could you tell me the identity of this coin, when it was struck and does it look authentic. 19.3 mm and 7.18 grams. Thank You.

Helmeted bust of Athena, reverse looks like Zeus throwing thunderbolt. I see what looks like a legend on the reverse but I can't make it out.

Similar to an Athens Mithradatic War issue chalkous - and the size is right - but some reverse devices differ, I believe...

Looks authentic. Very difficult to fake that kind of patina.

Another (although pre-Mithradatic War) issue from Athens/Attica with similar (like the A - E) but not quite identical reverse devices...perhaps a starting point for research:

(I suspect the size on the coin at that link was supposed to read "18.4" mm)
