Here's a 1894 better date barber coin it does look cleaned and has a decent scratch but since this is a rarer coin in higher grades what would you guys grade this ? Also what do you think is a fair price for a problem coin like this ?
RedBook even though it's high high retail and for problem free coins it has ef40 @ 180 and AU50 @ 220...
So if you was to buy this coin what would you feel is a fair price ?

At least AU50 details. Too bad about the scratch.

I wouldn't go more than $50.

EF-40 details. $50 would be fair for this coin with the problems. You'd probably be better off though getting one in a lower grade without problems.

Well guys looks like I waited to long ..
The coin was listed with a BIN option and I was going to try and get it for 40-45 , by the time I went back to submit a offer the listing had ended ..
O well probably for the best as problem coins really bug mean unless it's a better date or coin that is rarer in a high grade ...
I'm sure another one will come along that's within my price range !!?
Thanks for the input everyone , I do appreciate it !
