It a nice looking coin, should probably be worth a dime or so. The blobs are most likely die chips. They don't add much value to the coin really, but they are an error non the less. You can learn more about die chips on this page: http://www.lincolncentsonline.com/cuds.html

During the 50's, dies were over worked and formed many die cracks and die chips like this. These are too small to have any real value.
