2018 2-euro coin showing Simone Veil. Trained as a lawyer, she survived Auschwitz concentration camp and went on to serve as French Minister of Health, President of the European Parliament and a member of the Constitutional Council of France.

Nice pepactonius. What are the figures on the shield?

Got any Henri IV? I'll dig out something and post it if you don't.

Apparently this is called "ermine" in heraldry. The figures would be black on a white background, and they are supposed to be black otter tails.

Looks like I have a few Henry IV coins, but yours are probably better, so go ahead and post them.

Lovely coin, pepactonius! My few French hammered coins are very poor and hardly worth posting.

King Louis-Philippe did much to assist the restoration of Notre-Dame Cathedral in the 19th century. Here he is on an 1831 5-franc coin, minted in Bordeaux (K):

Both of these coins are full weight, so any clipping would be weight adjustment.
